Now: 13 died instantly with 19 seriously Injured in Madison car Crash

A multi-vehicle incident early Tuesday morning claimed one life and injured another, who was brought to the hospital. At the junction of Highway 30 and N. Stoughton Road, the Madison Fire Department arrived. Three automobiles were involved in the collision when Ladder 8 and Medic 8 arrived, and one individual was trapped inside one of the vehicles. To help extricate the pinned person, further MFD services were dispatched to the scene. While Ladder 8 attempted to rip the vehicle’s roof off, paramedics started evaluating the pinned occupant. Paramedics discovered the individual was dead and had unsurvivable injuries after removing the roof.

On the site, a second patient was found. They had non-life-threatening injuries, so they were evaluated and taken to a nearby hospital. There were no injuries reported by the third driver in the collision. The Madison Police Department was given the scene and is currently conducting an investigation.
