Just Now: Motor Vehicle Fatality at Grand Canyon National Park That Claims Alot Of Lives

An employee of the park called the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center at 2:12 p.m. today regarding a two-car collision that occurred on South Entrance Road, roughly three miles north of the park’s South Entrance Station. A female rear passenger in a vehicle who was 24 years old was fatally injured. The sedan’s driver and front-seat passenger were sent to Flagstaff Medical Center with non-critical injuries. The pick-up truck’s driver and passenger on the second car escaped unharmed. Before and during the car accident, there was a winter storm bringing sleet and snow, which could have had a role in the collision.
