Pilot in cargo plane crash listed in stable condition

According to family, the pilot of a twin-engine freight plane that crashed in Londonderry last week is in stable condition at a Boston hospital. According to his wife Maryse, Darin Larabee, 50, of Framingham, Massachusetts, has already undergone one operation and has another one coming up on Thursday. Regarding Larabee’s rescue by the Londonderry Fire Department, she exclaimed, “It’s amazing.” She expresses her gratitude to everyone “who worked so quickly to get him out alive.” Although Larabee’s face and skull were fractured, his limbs and legs are unbroken. The National Transportation Safety Board verified on Saturday that the left cockpit door was located six miles north of the disaster site as it carried out its ongoing investigation.

In a statement, the NTSB stated that it does not “determine or speculate about the cause of the accident” while conducting the on-scene investigation. Within 30 days, a preliminary report will be made accessible. The final study, which should be out in 12 to 24 months, will provide a full account of the crash’s probable cause as well as any contributing variables. The plane’s wreckage was found on Saturday and taken to a safe haven in Westfield, Massachusetts. The collision happened on Friday morning about 7:30 a.m. close to Colonial Drive in Londonderry. The lone passenger, the pilot, was discovered “heavily entrapped” and suffering from serious injuries.
