BREAKING: 20-year-old killed by brake caliper that flew through car windshield, family says

Following an apparently uncommon collision on a Georgian road, a Tennessee woman passed away. Autumn McClure, 20, was murdered on Wednesday, according to her family, when a brake calliper broke free from another car and crashed through the windscreen of the car she was riding in. Although no information has been published by Georgian officials, family members claim that the tragedy occurred in Ringgold. Her boyfriend said that McClure was in the passenger seat at the time.

It’s not apparent if the other car’s driver stopped. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that road debris causes over 700 fatalities annually.
