DRAPER — A 20-year-old man was killed in a crash on northbound Interstate 15 on Thursday.
About 5:50 a.m., a Subaru WRX was taking the off-ramp at 11400 South “when it drifted into the center gore area and struck the crash cushion,” according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s identity has not been released. What caused the car to drift into the barrier was still being investigated Thursday.
The off-ramp was closed for three hours was UHP troopers investigated the crash.
