A TEENAGE girl has been killed after she was struck by a car as she walked with friends along a road in WA’s Goldfields-Esperance region.
The 16-year-old was walking along Davis Road, Monjingup with a group of friends when a white Holden utility struck them at about 1.30am.
The teenager was taken to Esperance Hospital with critical injuries. She died shortly later.
Police said a 19-year-old man was assisting them with their inquiries and that Major Crash officers were investigating if speed was a factor in the crash.
