The identities of the four Iowans killed in Friday’s private jet tragedy have been released. When their small plane from Fort Dodge crashed into an Indiana cornfield, the four victims—Braden W. Hicks, age 36, of Manson; Jesse H. Ostheimer, age 41, of Alden; Joseph R. Scallon, age 68, of Iowa Falls; and “Owen” James Renaud, age 19, of Alden—were murdered. The Madison County Coroner’s Office made the names public on Saturday. The plane was supposed to land at Anderson Municipal Airport at approximately 9:55 a.m. after taking off from Fort Dodge, Iowa, just after 6:45 a.m., according to Madison County Sheriff’s Department Capt.
