Just now: Unbuckled Driver Killed, 11-Year-Old & 2 Teens Among Multiple Hurt in Head-on Minnesota Crash

Minnesota’s Princeton (KROC-AM News) – In a head-on collision that occurred on Saturday in rural Minnesota, an unbuckled driver lost his life and two teenagers, one an 11-year-old, were among several others injured.

36 years old The driver of the vehicle, Ulysses Stephen Chase of Harris, Minnesota, was pronounced deceased on the spot. Theresa June Miller, 41, of Schafer, and two boys, aged 11 and 14, who were riding with him, also had non-life-threatening wounds. Miller and a 14-year-old boy were brought to a hospital in St. Cloud and the 11-year-old was taken to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

 

63-year-old Geralyn Marie Weitzel of Menominee, WI, was identified as the SUV driver. She was taken to a St. Paul hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Her two passengers, identified as 38-year-old Leanne Martha Payne of Menominee and a 14-year-old girl from Menominee, also were hospitalized. They suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
