BREAKING: The biggest mistake in a National park led to a tragic accident that claims a lot of lives and damages

The National Park Service (NPS) has been advising people to exercise caution while nearing any animals as the summer season approaches and crowds of people pour into the nation’s 63 national parks. A 40-year-old Utah man was detained and taken to the hospital in April after kicking a bison in the leg while visiting a herd in Yellowstone National Park. The bison would not let the man get away with it either, and he was hurt. A month later, while on a hike in Grand Teton National Park, a visitor unintentionally came across two grizzly bears and was seriously injured.

On June 1, a bison gorged an 83-year-old hiker who was traveling along Yellowstone’s Storm Point Trail, in an even more sad event. The South Carolina visitor was taken aback when the bison appeared from behind and “lifted her about a foot off the ground with his horns,” according to the NPS. It remains unknown how park officials found her and whether she was accompanied by any other guests.

An elderly park visitor was ambushed by a bison that “lifted her about a foot off the ground.” After being called to the scene, emergency personnel took the woman to the Lake Medical Clinic in the park, from where she was helicoptered to Eastern Idaho Medical Center. While the event is still being investigated, no more details regarding her status have been disclosed other than the fact that she suffered critical injuries.
