Breaking news: Disney Dreamlight Valley Outlines Changes to PlayStation Version

This week, Disney Dreamlight Valley will receive its most recent free update, which will bring significant modifications to the PS4 and PS5 editions. beginning previously announced, PlayStation users will now be able to go to the valleys of individuals who are playing on other platforms, and vice versa, beginning of Wednesday, August 21st. Late last year, the feature of valley visits was added to the game, but it was only accessible to users of other platforms. Furthermore, it has now been disclosed by Gameloft that PlayStation users will be able to take part in DreamSnaps by voting and submitting their own entries starting of Wednesday’s update.

It seems that this is just the start, as Gameloft plans to completely knock down the barriers between the PlayStation version of the game from the PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox versions. The developer first disclosed that cross-save functionality between versions of the game was being blocked by PlayStation rules back in 2023. Cross-saves are coming to PlayStation later this year, so obviously things have changed. Regretfully, a more precise timeline has not been disclosed. But for players who enjoy using other platforms to play the game, this should be fantastic news!

Along with the PlayStation-specific adjustments, Wednesday’s update will include a tonne of stuff that gamers across all systems may enjoy. Tiana from The Princess and the Frog will be added in the summer update. Players will be able to start up a meal booth at Tiana’s Palace, a new restaurant location in the game, where they may buy pre-made dishes. A number of enhancements to the player’s quality of life are also in the works. One such feature is the creation of outfit presets, which will allow players to quickly swap between outfits without having to select each item separately.
