Dollywood closed after flash flood damage…

Over the weekend, flash floods affected Dolly Parton’s amusement park in Tennessee.

The inside of Dollywood’s stores were destroyed by floodwaters, injuring one person.

Visitors were unable to retrieve their cars from the nearly waist-deep floodwaters that covered the parking spaces.

The collapse of the exit road made matters worse.

This occurred shortly after the area was issued a flash flood warning on Sunday by the National Weather Service.

“Dollywood is supporting guests whose vehicles were affected by this weather event, and cleanup crews have been deployed,” the theme park stated in a statement.

Fast-moving floodwaters could be seen rushing past structures and amusements in an online video.

Regarding whether the theme park will reopen on Monday, there has been no information thus far.
