As negotiations between NASCAR and its teams over money allocations from a new broadcast deal continue, tensions are rising among drivers like as Denny Hamlin and others who have commented on the continuing story. Hamlin responded sharply on Twitter to part-time driver Landon Cassill’s claim that there is too much bloat among Cup Series teams right now. On the Money Lap Podcast with Parker Kligerman and Landon Cassill, Cassill stated the following: “NASCAR is not requiring you to hire 100 engineers. NASCAR is not forcing you to rent private jets. NASCAR is not requiring you to spend $250,000 on a pit box.”
