RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA. (Gray News/TMX) Authorities in California are investigating a collision at a motocross track over the weekend that killed a young girl. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called to Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park about 10 a.m. last Sunday to investigate a reported crash. Deputies said they arrived to find good Samaritans taking life-saving efforts on an unresponsive youngster, Brooke Carlton, who was later identified as nine years old. She was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead. Another child was treated on the spot for minor injuries. According to the sheriff’s office, the crash occurred when both children were riding electric motocross bikes on the course. A fundraising for the Carlton family revealed her passing.
