The New York Knicks have had another good season, but there will undoubtedly be more offseason rumors to come. beginning with the NBA Draft in 2024, when they will have two first-round selections.

It seems improbable that Leon Rose will draft two rookies to the team when he is in charge of a group that has a championship ceiling.

Which is probably why Zach Buckley has the Knicks throwing everything on one rookie in a recent trade suggestion for Bleacher Report.

In his piece from May 16, Rob Dillingham, a guard from Kentucky, is acquired by New York as part of a three-team trade with the Atlanta Hawks and San Antonio Spurs.

Following the trade of all three picks—24, 25, and 38—to the Spurs, they choose the 19-year-old with the eighth overall pick in the proposal.

Meanwhile, Buckley speculates that New York may be considering where to fit three rookies into its roster given how loaded it is when healthy. The Knicks could easily decide they can’t, so they package the selections in hopes of getting into the top 10 in order to replace Immanuel Quickley.
