Shockwaves The NY Knicks As Jalen Brunson Faces An Infinite Suspension Due To Alleged Possession Of …

Superstar Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks performed brilliantly once more in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, defeating the Indiana Pacers with a score of 43 points. With the highest postseason point average in the NBA—36.6 points per game—Brunson is now riding high in the postseason. The former Villanova product is now part of an elite NBA firm thanks to his latest performance.

After Michael Jordan did so in 1993, Brunson made history on Monday by becoming the first player to score 40 points in four straight playoff games. Furthermore, Brunson’s 210 points in total over his last five games are a record for the most points in a postseason five-game stretch since Jordan in 1993. After tying Knicks legend Bernard King for the franchise record in straight 40-point playoff games, Brunson is now only two games short of Jerry West’s 1965 NBA record.

Not bad for a player who has been called “too small” or considered an overpay. Brunson also becomes the only players in NBA playoff history to score 200 or more points and 40 or more assists during a five-game span, alongside LeBron James and Jordan.
