After Signing in a Top WR, Bills Are Potentially Agreed On Trading For 49ers Deebo Samuel Pending on His..

For the third time in the NFL draft order, the Buffalo Bills decided not to trade back, and they took care of their most pressing need on Friday by selecting Florida State receiver Keon Coleman in the first round of the second round.
The 20-year-old Coleman, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds, adds bulk and skill as a receiver to a Josh Allen-led offense that lost fourth-year player Gabe Davis to free agency earlier this month and traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

During his lone season at Florida State, Coleman led the Seminoles with 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games, earning him All-ACC recognition. In addition to being an All-ACC player, he was a return specialist. Coleman played his first two years of collegiate ball at Michigan State, where he caught 65 passes for 848 yards and eight touchdowns.

After trading their way out of the first round with two deals to move back from owning the No. 28th pick to the No. 33 pick, the Bills had been on the clock for about seventeen hours.

Buffalo dropped from 28th to 32nd after the first trade with the Chiefs, which infuriated the fan base. Questions were raised about general manager Brandon Beane’s assistance to Kansas City, a conference opponent that had eliminated Buffalo in three of the previous four postseasons.

The Chiefs’ decision to choose Texas receiver Xavier Worthy, who some thought would fit in well with the receiver-starved Bills, was even worse in the eyes of the Bills Mafia.
