Buffalo Bills  Reporting Trading Up For A New Draft Receiver Pending on Off-season’s…

The Buffalo Bills are purportedly considering a possible trade up in the NFL Draft to address the void left by the loss of their top two receivers from the 2023 roster. Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated challenges that tactic.

Looking at things through a positive lens, the Buffalo Bills ought to move up in this week’s NFL Draft in order to guarantee the availability of a top-tier wide prospect.

But Albert Breer, senior writer at Sports Illustrated, has a different take on it. Breer suggests in his yearly draft piece that Buffalo should hold onto its draft capital and use it to replenish supplies.

Although it’s theoretical that the Bills might target a receiver, a major, Julio Jones-style swing might not be as sensible as folks are making it out to be, given the roster change this offseason that tore apart much of the foundation that brought Buffalo back to prominence. However, players like A.D. Mitchell of Texas and Ladd McConkey of Georgia—who has some medical concerns following injuries sustained in college—as well as cornerbacks like Wiggins and McKinstry and even centers like Zach Frazier of West Virginia, would be viable choices, according to Breer, who projects the Bills’ needs at running back, receiver, cornerback, safety, and center.
