“Fans In Tears” As NY Knicks Head Coach Speaks on His Retirement Due to Inconvenient…

Despite all of his achievements throughout his two seasons with the Knicks and his rise to prominence in New York City, Jalen Brunson’s greatest disappointment remains.

“Much more than you might imagine,” he remarked.

Against the Heat in the previous year’s second-round matchup, Brunson carried the Knicks through.

had the team borne upon his back.

However, he spent the summer brooding after making the critical turnover with an errant pass into traffic while down two in the closing seconds of Game 6 of elimination.

“We have the opportunity to force a Game 7 and I made a terrible decision,” Brunson stated

“And that was something I had to deal with all summer long.”

Very few, if any, fans prefer that play to Brunson.

The turnover doesn’t even rank among the worst choke jobs in Knicks history.

For example, Charles Smith’s basket beneath the hoop, John Starks’s 2-for-18 shooting in Game 7, Patrick Ewing’s erroneous finger roll, Carmelo Anthony’s rejection by Roy Hibbert, and Julius Randle’s entire series are all examples of below.

However, Brunson believed that he had done a grave injustice in Miami.

Finally, Game 1 against the Sixers on Saturday is the chance for atonement.
