Raiders Has Closed a Trade Deal Worth $105 Million With Michael Penix Jr.

There are a lot of quarterback prospects available to the Las Vegas Raiders as the 2024 NFL Draft draws near. There’s no assurance they will stay that long. The team may move back, trade up for someone like Jayden Daniels, or wait until the second round for someone like Michael Penix Jr. or Bo Nix.
Phoenix has been mentioned recently as a potential possibility for the Raiders, should they decide on the latter. The Heisman Trophy runner-up and standout player from the University of Washington was exceptional in leading the Huskies to the College Football National Championship Game.

This week on NFL Live, Kimes stated, “I really like the idea of Michael Penix Jr. on the Las Vegas Raiders, for a few reasons.” “Not only is he an older prospect, but he is also the kind of player who has played a lot of football and can compete right away, so I don’t think it makes sense to draft him and then sit him for a few years.” That’s what Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell, the current quarterback duo for the Las Vegas Raiders, need. Someone who can enter the field and challenge for the first position.
