Three Best Greatest Signings Texans Reportedly Making Which Will Take Higher in the AL.

Last season, the Houston Texans were unstoppable. From having a 3-13-1 record in 2022, they not only improved to a 10-7 record but also won the AFC South and a playoff game. They may thank their stellar 2023 draft class, which includes center Juice Scruggs and wide receiver Nathaniel “Tank” Dell, as well as future offensive (CJ Stroud) and defensive (Will Anderson Jr.) Rookie of the Year winners. Last season, Houston’s rookie class produced a lot of value.
This time around, it will be more difficult to duplicate that inexperienced output. Unlike previous year, when they had two first-round picks, the Texans do not have any this year. A year ago, they traded Deshaun Watson for a first round pick (which they received from the Cleveland Browns) in order to advance to the 23rd pick, which they recently sent to the Minnesota Vikings. As things stand, Houston won’t select until the 42nd overall pick in the draft. For them, there will still be a few exceptional prospects available. The Texans might consider players like Trey Benson, TJ Tampa, and Chris Braswell there.
Among Alabama’s pass rushers in this year’s class, Dallas Turner will undoubtedly garner attention, but Chris Braswell should also not be taken lightly. In the 2023 season, Braswell was not much that different from his Tuscaloosa counterpart when it came to applying pressure on opposition quarterbacks.

That did not translate into Braswell producing more sacks than Turner did, though. Turner finished with 10 sacks in the previous season, 14 in the previous two, and 22.5 in his three college years. Despite Turner receiving far more attention, Braswell had 11 sacks during his final two seasons after having none as a freshman.
