Top Eagles Executive Demands For Contract Termination, As He Makes Shocking Decision to Leave Team

The Philadelphia Eagles made a lot of high-profile additions in the 2024 offseason, including Bryce Huff and Saquon Barkley. But before the roster upgrades, there were a few major shakeups involving important decision-makers, including the firing of both of Nick Sirianni’s coordinators.
It appears that general manager Howie Roseman is losing a crucial member of his front office staff.
Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Jeff McLane has reported that Jake Rosenberg will be departing the team “when his contract expires after the NFL draft next month.” McLane reports that the esteemed executive “hopes to stay in the NFL and work for a team in which he can pursue his goal of becoming a GM.” Rosenberg attributes the move to his desire to advance his career.

Roseman and the Eagles as a whole have suffered a great loss with this. As one of Roseman’s closest advisors, Rosenberg is the vice president of football administration. Rosenberg “played a vital role” in cap management, negotiations, and player signings and acquisitions, according to McLane.
Though Roseman is rightfully praised as one of the NFL’s best general managers, Rosenberg was obviously a huge asset to this company, and Roseman’s success is also a testimony to the crew that surrounds him.

It’s not Rosenberg’s fault that he wants to look into other possibilities for a bigger role elsewhere.
