On Thursday, Alabama football secured its second linebacker pledge in as many days. Four-star California recruit Abduall Sanders declared his intention to enroll in the Crimson Tide’s 2025 class.
Sanders is listed in the 247Sports composite rankings as the No. 36 linebacker in the class.In the class, he is ranked as the 334th best player.
Together with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, he announced the news on social media on Thursday. Among other offers, Sanders turned down offers from Tennessee, UCLA, and Baylor to join the Crimson Tide.

Sanders attends Mater Dei in Santa Ana, where he plays high school football. He is 210 pounds and 6 feet 2 inches tall.
With Sanders signed, Alabama’s recruiting class for 2025 shot up to No. 8 in the 247Sports composite rankings. He rose to the position of eighth in the class overall.
Tenth place was held by Alabama prior to his arrival. With the move, the Tide outpaced Wisconsin and Texas Tech.
Sanders joined the 2025 squad as the second linebacker. He joined Darrell “Duke” Johnson, who on Wednesday declared his decision to sign with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
