Bills Reportedly Closing a $70.5 Million Deal With former Florida State Seminoles Player , After Free…

Prior to being injured in the first half of their Wild Card game last season, he participated in all 17 games of the regular season.
He has only missed one regular-season game in his previous six seasons in the NFL. In his 98 career games, he has made 86 starts. He has five sacks, seven tackles for loss, and 222 tackles, including 106 solo stops. He makes a forced fumble as well.
Josh Sweat, a defensive end, has apparently been receiving calls from the Philadelphia Eagles regarding a potential trade, but it now seems he will remain with the NFC East team for whom he has become a star.

ESPN reports that the club and the player agreed on a revised contract. Now, he’ll get a deal for up to $13 million, with a guaranteed $10 million.
Sweat, who inked a three-year, $42 million contract extension with the team back in 2021, was about to reach the last year of his deal. Before the restructure, there were no assurances left on that deal.
Before the 2025 NFL season, Sweat might be a free agent.

He has been a member of the Eagles throughout his whole NFL career. Out of FSU, they selected him in the fourth round of the 2018 draft. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2021 and had his best season to date in 2022, recording career-high totals of 11.0 sacks, 48 tackles, and 23 quarterback hits. He started all 17 of Philadelphia’s games during the previous campaign, recording 23 pressures and 6.5 sacks.
