Raiders Have Successfully Re-signed back Andre James on $50 million deal After a Surprising…

The Raiders of Las Vegas are making every effort to have the top offensive line for the next campaign. The front office was able to complete a deal with starting center Andre James with free agency just around the bend.
James is formally signing a $24 million, three-year contract, according to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Of his contract, $16 million is guaranteed.

“Sources tell [Ian Rapoport] and Tom Pelissero that the Raiders and C. Andre James have a three-year contract for him to stay in Las Vegas. Agents David Canter, Ness Mugrabi, and Ian Grutman of GSE Football negotiated a deal that will pay James $24 million over three years, with a guarantee of $16 million. $10 million or so in year [one].
Andre James, who shown himself to be a dependable center for the Raiders last season, has a good contract. He’s actually been the starter for the last three seasons, and he’s finally getting paid for his work. Aidan O’Connell or any other quarterback the front staff may want to add in the offseason will benefit greatly from having him as their center.

The Raiders are going through an interesting period right now. Midway through the season, Josh McDaniels was fired, and the team came together behind Antonio Pierce. Pierce will now be allowed to keep leading the squad as the front management works to strengthen the roster.
After resolving the central position, Las Vegas may concentrate on other important areas. There is room for improvement on this roster, especially at wide receiver, running back, and defense. The Raiders face a difficult task in the AFC West since the entire division is packed. However, expect Vegas to be busy throughout this off-season.
