This week, there was major news from Southern California.Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports broke the initial news that Anthony Jones Jr. would be the next running backs coach at USC. With the recent loss of USC’s top recruiter, Dante Williams, to the University of Georgia, Jones Jr. is joining a staff that many in the college football world view as incredibly exciting from top to bottom.
Head coach Lincoln Riley stated, “Anthony Jones Jr. is a talented coach who will certainly contribute to our climb as a program.”

Jones Jr. had served as TCU’s running game coordinator and running backs coach for the previous two seasons; he will now serve in those capacities at USC.
