Three Perfect NFL trade Raiders Pledges to complete in 2024 offseason

Teams in the NFL make calculated moves to strengthen their rosters and raise their chances of winning the next season during the summer. The 2023 season was tough for the Raiders in Las Vegas. As a result, they had an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs. But the Raiders are aiming for a game-changing trade as the 2024 offseason draws near. They could very well sign Justin Fields away from the Chicago Bears. Not only would this strengthen the quarterback position for the Raiders. Additionally, it would set them up for long-term success.

The 2023 NFL season was quite the rollercoaster for the Las Vegas Raiders. Once again, it was a disheartening postseason failure. Antonio Pierce became the team’s temporary head coach during the season and significantly improved the defense. The Raiders’ defense did not improve, though, and they were not competitive for the postseason. The Raiders are resolved to fix their problems and assemble a stronger team as the 2024 NFL offseason draws near.

The Raiders go through a transitional phase as Pierce takes over as head coach and Tom Telesco joins as general manager. Possible player exits are hinted at by the changes in leadership. This is especially true for veterans that were acquired during the last administration. Even with his exceptional skills, receiver Davante Adams hasn’t lived up to the Raiders’ high expectations since being traded. The team’s uncertainty is increased by the departure of Derek Carr, a former college teammate. Rumors about possible exits are circulating. These include Jimmy Garoppolo and Hunter Renfrow, which further muddies the Raiders’ personnel dynamics. Given these events, Pierce and Telesco might want to move players in order to improve the team’s chances for the following campaign.
