CONGRATULATION: TO STEELERS FOR A FANTASTIC FIRST YEAR .WE EXPECT MORE TO COME NEXT AS…

The speculations that quarterback Justin Fields might be traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers seem to go on forever.
On February 27, ESPN’s Seth Walder predicted that Fields would start at quarterback for Pittsburgh when the 2024 season got underway.
Walder stated, “The next franchise quarterback for the Steelers is not on the roster at this time.” “Mason Rudolph fared well in a few starts towards the end of the season, but he hasn’t been consistent enough in his career to be a safe option moving forward. Kenny Pickett hasn’t demonstrated enough development in two seasons.

“They are a potential to deal for Fields, who could be a great fit with new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, given that they achieved 10 victories last season despite their subpar quarterback group.”
Less than a week has passed since ESPN’s Field Yates suggested the Steelers trade Fields to the Chicago Bears in exchange for Fields and their No. 51 overall pick and a 2024 fourth-round pick.

Fields, a first-round selection in 2021, has a fifth-year option that may prevent him from becoming a free agent until after the 2025 campaign. However, Spotrac had previously calculated that, during a six-year contract, his market value would be $283.2 million.

One of the most widely circulated early NFL offseason rumors has been that the Bears will trade Fields to the Steelers in exchange for draft picks.

On November 29, Senior NFL Insider Matt Lombardo of Fan Buzz originally mentioned Pittsburgh as a possible landing spot for Fields. When ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed on The Pat McAfee Show on February 12 that head coach Mike Tomlin is a huge fan of Fields, the rumor gained significant traction.
