The seamless adjustment quarterback CJ Stroud, the second overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, had from the collegiate level helped the Houston Texans emerge as one of the most intriguing up-and-coming teams in the NFL during the 2023–2024 season. Collins’ willingness to accept a contract extension will be welcome news to the Texans front office. For Nick Caserio, though, the most important thing is to prioritize their offseason moves. Although it is imperative that they retain the 24-year-old wide receiver, their present priority is to hold onto their roster of free agents, which includes tight end Dalton Schultz.
