CHRISTIAN HORNER ANNOUNCES HIS RETIRED FROM RED BULL AND GOES FUTHER IN DETAIL….
Prior to the team’s anticipated announcement regarding its investigation into the team principal’s inappropriate behavior, Max Verstappen discussed the significance of Christian Horner’s presence around Red Bull in both the short and long term.
Red Bull GmbH, the parent company of the Formula 1 team, opened an investigation into Horner’s behavior in early February after a female colleague made certain accusations.
Although Horner is present at the Bahrain International Circuit and has previously addressed the media at Red Bull’s 2024 car launch and pre-season testing, it is believed that the team will reveal their decision before a wheel is turned on the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.
“I believe he is crucial, or else he wouldn’t have held that position for so long, right?” Verstappen said to the Bahraini media. Since everyone is in their assigned roles and knows what needs to be done in the short term, not much will happen if your team boss vanishes for one or two races for any reason.
However, managing people over time is the key. Naturally, if one of the leaders starts to disappear, then things will start to change. However, we don’t think that way; instead, we just have faith in the process we are going through as a team to see what happens.
“Aside from that, right now, everyone is just really focused on the performance at the track, and everyone is happy and eager to get started again.”
Red Bull Racing’s communications has continuously emphasized that the inquiry isn’t proving to be unduly disruptive to the team and that everything are continuing as normal since its initial appearance at the RB20 unveiling.
Verstappen has had a great February on the racetrack, seeming incredibly at ease during testing and emerging as the clear favorite to win the championship in 2024 and win the drivers’ crown four times in a row.
