The NRLW may soon follow in the footsteps of four NRL teams as they prepare to rock the country at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas next weekend.

The idea of witnessing strong women compete against one another on a rugby league field is something that American fans would find fascinating, according to ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys, who has yet to present the idea to the NRL administration.

Speaking about the possible event, V’landys acknowledged that Sydney Roosters Chairman Nick Politis came up with the concept and that he fully supports it.

“I want to win the women’s division because it’s special,” V’landys stated to The Sydney Morning Herald.

“Seeing women play rugby league will elevate our sport to a new level, especially given their caliber.

“I can’t believe how good these women are and how fast they’ve improved.”

“I think they’re just as good as the males.

“Just so you know, this isn’t my idea. I ought to give Nick Politis credit where credit is due.
