Breaking news: Eagles Have Extended a $7.4 million Contract With 4 key players which has…

Report: Nick Sirianni was harmed by Dom DiSandro’s ban during games – PFT
Longtime Eagles reporter Derrick Gunn has provided something more substantial and far less tasty at a time when FS1 anchor Craig Carton has alluded to (but not revealed) a possibly scandalous “real reason” for the collapse of the Eagles in 2023. Gunn claims that Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro was expelled from the team after he spoke with Coach Nick Sirianni was caught off guard by 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw during a game against San Francisco on December 3. “Big Dom” “controls Sirianni emotions on sideline,” according to a post made by Gunn on X, and “in his absence Nick gets in numerous arguments with players/coaches during games.” Following Big Dom’s sideline suspension, which continued for the remainder of the regular season, the Eagles were in free fall. The Eagles gave up the division crown to the Cowboys after winning just one more game. (After the lone win, against the Giants on Christmas, Sirianni said he was “too tense.”)

Nick is the team’s leader and head football coach. In addition to managing relationships with his players and helpers, he ought to be able to handle matters on the sidelines. It shouldn’t take a big Italian guy to control your feelings. Being passionate is one thing, but if the zeal turns into a liability and the head coach isn’t calling plays on either side of the ball, then there’s some irony to T Mac’s question during the press conference, which is essentially the football equivalent of “what would ya say ya do here?”
