A $98.5 Million Deal Has Been Agreed Between Eagles Key QB Player And…

PHILADELPHIA: A draft draft is always a good idea. Heck, as soon as one NFL Draft concludes, there’s always another one for the next year.
Daniel Jeremiah, an NFL Media analyst, has already attended two. On Thursday afternoon, he will conduct his yearly pre-NFL Scouting Combine preview with reporters via conference call, which usually lasts for approximately ninety minutes.
While mock drafts are usually entertaining, it is uncommon for someone to correctly predict all 32 clubs’ first-round selections after the first few players are selected. When the draft starts its three-day journey in Detroit on April 25, the Philadelphia Eagles are set to select at No. 22 overall.

In Jeremiah’s first mock draft, which was made public earlier this week, the Eagles selected Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton at that position. In his second mock draft, which was announced earlier this week, the Eagles selected Missouri cornerback Ennis Rakestraw, Jr.
It should be noted that Philly selected Nolan Smith at No. 10 and Jahmyr Gibbs at No. 30 in Jeremiah’s final mock draft from the previous year.
In a way, he was correct about Smith. He was selected by the Eagles, but not until No. 30. The Eagles used their tenth pick to move up to No. 9 in order to choose Jalen Carter, who Jeremiah had selected fifth overall by the Seattle Seahawks.
Gibbs chose the Detroit Lions at No. 12, which was higher than most predicted.

Still, few many work as hard at college tape as Jeremiah does—he was an Eagles scout once. He is aware of the needs of the squad, and the Eagles could do worse than bolstering a pass defense that finished the previous season ranked No. 31 in the league or adding depth to the offensive line to protect against injuries and Lane Johnson’s inevitable retirement.
