COMPLETED DEAL: A $98.4 Million deal has been Agreed Between CJ STROUD And….

This season, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud made jokes about the findings of his pre-NFL Draft cognitive test appear ridiculous, and now his agent is going too far.

It has been alleged that Athletes First is instructing its 2024 hopefuls to forgo any intelligence testing due to the release of Stroud’s poor performance. Even though none of the top quarterbacks in the upcoming draft class are represented by the agency, this move may encourage other agencies to do the same for their clients.

The organization sent an email to NFL clubs that The Athletic was able to get, stating, “After much internal discussion, the agents at Athletes First have directed our draft prospects to respectfully pass on participating in any cognitive or psychological testing during the pre-draft process (e.g. AIQ, S2, etc.).” “We are aware that a lot of your teams utilize these tests or procedures as a part of the prospect assessment process, but we haven’t had a great experience with them lately. In particular, the fact that some performance and results were made public last year shows that there is actually no confidentiality involved in these testing. The public discussion and mockery of a player’s intelligence, ability, or mental functioning is inappropriate – no other employment interview has the same weight.
