Yesterday’s inaugural ceremony saw a procession of Red Bull Formula 1 cars, including some of the most successful and dominant vehicles of the past several seasons, meet guests at their Milton Keynes facility.
However, the vehicle that initiated everything was gone. Three years later, an example was placed beneath the ‘RB1’ banner.
It was soon evident that Red Bull had not made this mistake. In order to take center stage at the introduction, the team’s first Formula One car was rolled into a different hall.
Red Bull ignited the first of their 20 F1 cars to begin the launch process. It seemed like a real explosion as the three-liter V10 Cosworth engine of the RB1 filled the space.
