UPDATE: Warriors Head coach STEVE KERR Explains why he Demoted……

The NBA has never seen Stephen Curry, the standout player for the Golden State Warriors, on such a tear. In Wednesday’s 130-125 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, Curry drained nine 3-pointers, making league history the first player to make at least seven 3-pointers in four straight games, according to NBC Sports Bay Area.

Curry led all scorers with 41 points, going 9 for 19 from beyond the arc. If the Warriors had held on for the win, the evening would have been more significant, but a 36-19 Clippers run in the game’s closing 9:29 erased a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter. Golden State had been winning five straight games, with four of those victories coming away from home, before this loss.

During this historic four-game stretch, Curry averaged 34.5 points and made 36 3-pointers. Curry’s season-high 11 three-pointers on February 8, five days after he scored 60 points and made double-digit 3-pointers in a game for the first time this season, marked the beginning of his deep streak.

Curry set a record for the most 3-pointers made in four games when he made nine, seven, and nine in the next three games. He is 81 games ahead of the next closest player, who also happens to be his teammate and Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, with 129 games in which he has made at least seven 3-pointers in his career.
