CJ Stroud’s Best QB Player Terminates His Contract and Refuses Extension As He Craves For….

The fact that C.J. Stroud, the rookie quarterback for the Texans, was competent was not a surprise, in my opinion. “Capable” shouldn’t be an extremely high standard to meet when you’re the second overall pick. But I did not have Stroud’s 2023 BINGO card, despite him having one of the best rookie seasons in league history—at any position.
But that’s precisely what took place. Along with Tom Brady and Joe Montana, Stroud became just the third quarterback in league history to lead the league in passing yards per game and touchdown to interception ratio in the same season. As we enter the second year of the Stroud Era in Houston, anticipation is through the roof. We’ve said multiple times in this area that the Texans are significantly upgrading their schedule for 2024 in terms of weight class. This odds board, which pits the Texans against five of the top six non-Stroud quarterbacks on this list, demonstrates exactly how much. To put it succinctly, Stroud will have earned the MVP award.
