Is Joe Milton III a candidate for our upcoming draft? I believe there is promise. Are his fans ignoring him?
In terms of size, speed, and athleticism, Joe Milton III of Tennessee is comparable to Anthony Richardson, a 2023 first-round selection.

Milton has an arm like a cannon and weighs 235 pounds at 6 feet 5 inches. He has a lot of unrealized potential despite being one of the oldest quarterback prospects (23 years old) in the 2024 draft class. Following his 2022 Capital One Orange Bowl MVP victory, he had an outstanding 2023 campaign in which he completed almost 65 percent of his throws for 2,813 yards and 20 touchdowns through the air. In addition, the versatile player scored seven touchdowns on the ground.

He received an invitation to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, where he performed admirably in drills but not so well in the yearly exhibition. Despite having the highest passing yardage total for the American team (80), he was intercepted twice during the team’s 16-7 loss to the National Team.

Milton may not be disregarded for very long if he accepts an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Because of his extensive collegiate experience and NFL-caliber body, he should be on your radar as a possible Day 2 or 3 selection in April.
