Chiefs Head Coach Demands For Contract Termination Due to….

The fact that the Kansas City Chiefs have only kept 11 players over the course of their last three Super Bowl appearances may speak something about general manager Brett Veach.
In an exciting 25-22 overtime win, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers for the second time. The Chiefs achieved this despite having a highly mobile group. When the Chiefs defeated the 49ers in the Super Bowl for the first time, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was a rookie.

Mahomes made NFL history this year by becoming the first player to win the Super Bowl while carrying the largest salary cap hit. In the summer of 2020, Mahomes inked a 10-year, $450 million deal extension with the Kansas City Chiefs, forcing the Chiefs to drastically rearrange their roster.
In addition to quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have a few other strong core players that helped them achieve long-term success. The talented tight end Travis Kelce is one important player they have kept. The case for Kelce being among the greatest tight ends of all time has been furthered by his performance in this year’s Super Bowl.

He has established himself as a vital component of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s offensive scheme, providing Mahomes with a reliable safety net in stressful circumstances like this impressive scramble and diving catch in the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens.
