The majority of Bills Mafia, and possibly a large portion of NFL viewers, anticipated Josh Allen and girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld to be present at Thursday’s 13th annual NFL Honors awards presentation. Then, Allen and Steinfeld did not appear during the red carpet pre-show event. Had Allen missed an NFL prime event yet again?
Why of course he did. Whatever it was, it may appear insignificant at most, because, well, it was. Possibly the finest of its kind. However, the intriguing finding was that, despite having some now widely known backup plans, Allen had no intention of going to the NFL Honors ceremony.
But Dan “Big Cat” Katz of Barstool Sports fame contacted Allen just two hours prior to the live Sin City version of The Dirty Dozen Trivia, asking for a favor if you will. Allen changed his reservation for supper to accommodate. You see, Big Cat needed a well-known NFL player to fill the position of fourth on his squad.
