Ohio’s Cleveland — Joel Bitonio, the left guard for the Browns, will have at least seven different offensive line coaches this year. The good thing is that he knows Andy Dickerson for a little bit.
Bitonio stated at a charity function on Thursday, “He traveled to Reno, Nevada, to work out me when I was coming out of (Nevada in the draft).” We had dinner at a small bar across the street from the school, which I believe was called The Wolf Den. The following day, we had some meetings, and he told me that the Rams were in St. Louis at the time, but they were really interested in me before the draft, so I got to know him a little.
Although Bitonio conceded that was ten years ago and that he doesn’t recall much, he has a colleague who is well acquainted with Dickerson.
