OH Leuven, Leicester City’s sister club, has declared more losses, as reported by Het Nieuwsblad. The club disclosed that they had lost €18 million annually, bringing their total loss since the English team’s Thai owners purchased them to €87 million. The club’s owners have nevertheless been pouring money into the organization despite the significant losses in order to keep it afloat and prevent it from failing.

However, they might be wondering what they have gained from their investment over time. Even though it assisted in the team’s promotion to the Belgian Pro League, they run the risk of dropping back to the second division this season. They have climbed out of the bottom four thanks to back-to-back victories over Genk and Westerlo, but only on goal differential. They are now level on points and games won with Charleroi.
