The Eagles have reached an agreement on a contract worth $89.5 million With….

What an understatement, huh? Fletch Cox, a star player for the Philadelphia Eagles, has had a fascinating few weeks. In an otherwise forgettable Wild Card Round match, he was one of the few shining lights; he gave it his all while many of his younger teammates did not. It seems like we’ve spoken about him more than usual during this time of year ever since. In recent news cycles, he has been cited frequently.

The Instagram post was there. Some described it as “cryptic.” Though we can see why some might have assumed he was hinting at retirement—especially in light of his previous statement that it was something he was considering—it wasn’t. For us, the most compelling aspect was his defense of Nick Sirianni. Well done, 91! However, once more, this isn’t the Fletch we’re used to—one that is more vocal.

Hey, don’t expect the celebration to end here. Before Super Bowl LVIII in Vegas, the FanSided family spoke with him, even though he has made the decision to be transparent. We had a few questions for him to answer.

We spoke with Dhani Jones on the Tuesday before the big game. It was enjoyable. Fletch was gracious enough to spend some time with us and answer our questions, one of which was about what it’s like to win and lose in the Super Bowl and then come back stronger the following year.

It’s by no means a simple undertaking. Regardless of outcome… I’ve experienced both. Even though we weren’t as good the next season, we still made the playoffs when I was on the winning team. I have not been winning. We began the season 10-1, but we lost the previous year. The outcome wasn’t quite what we had anticipated. Either way is possible. Simply said, I was glad to be on both sides because I never want to be on the losing side again. It’s difficult to get there, so you appreciate it.”

Fletch also discussed his opinions on Jalen Carter and Jason Kelce, two of his teammates. Regarding the G.O.A.T., he stated the following.

“I believe he is qualified to run for Philadelphia mayor at this time. He’ll most likely be elected immediately. His approach to the game is what stands out the most about him, though. He makes an effort to play the game correctly.

He seems to be a fan of Jalen Carter as well. But aren’t we all?

“He’s unique… He has the ability to be extremely talented. When I was younger, I was still putting things together. He’s still getting his bearings and learning how to play the game. Later in the season, those things were apparent. You observed him moving about the facility, taking care of himself, and following the proper procedures to advance to a professional level.

You’ve probably seen something if you’ve been observing. In Philly’s locker room and on the field, Fletch has evolved from being the quiet, strong captain to one of the more talkative ones. The Birds requested that he do so, and he has dutifully complied. We simply

He said the following on his own mortality and what lies ahead. That’s the question everyone has been asking, after all.”I’m simply going day by day. I’m just taking each day as it comes, but wherever it falls, it falls. It makes me very delighted to be performing in Philadelphia. It was a lot of fun this year!”

With the 12th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles chose a Mississippi State standout from Yazoo City once upon a time, in a far-off land (Radio City Music Hall in New York City, to be exact). We can declare with certainty that the strategy worked for them.No matter how long Fletch remains an Eagle, we can say one thing for sure. One of the best players to ever don their uniform is him.
