The belief that Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott ought to be fired was a prevalent theme among Bills Mafia both during and after the 2023 NFL season. Whose? With the notion that Josh Allen is a generational talent who provides a head coach with a “easy button,” many don’t appear to care.

Following the failure of the Chan Gailey experiment to produce more than six wins in a season, the Buffalo Bills were eager to move on. Here comes Doug Marrone, who had turned around the Syracuse program and was now determined to accomplish the same for Buffalo in order to secure the second miracle needed to be declared a saint. Marrone and associates aimed to introduce novel aspects to the league through the use of college football.
