When Leeds United plays Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night, they will be vying for a berth in the FA Cup’s fifth round.
A highly anticipated all Championship FA Cup fourth-round replay between Leeds United and Plymouth Argyle is scheduled to take place at Home Park. Both clubs had another chance to face off again for a berth in the quarterfinals after the first match ended in a hard-fought 1-1 tie.

This match will have even more significance because the winner will square off against the winner of Chelsea vs Aston Villa in a replay. Leeds could get a sense of their standing by playing opponents from the top level, as they are also aiming for promotion to their Premier League.

Then again, it would be too optimistic to think Plymouth will simply fold. Together with home support, the Pilgrims will be eager to secure a position in the Last Eight. A team that is quite dangerous on their day will cherish the moment they defeat Leeds United.

League success may take precedence for Leeds United, who are presently aiming for a top-two finish in the EFL Championship. However, an FA Cup run of success might provide them the boost they require. Plymouth Argyle is the clear favorite going into the game, but they’ve previously shown themselves to be a tough opponent, coming close to beating Leeds in their meetings this year.

Daniel Farke’s team must perform at their highest level to prevent being taken off guard.

The home team can use their top players for the evening because they don’t have any serious ailments to worry about. Darko Gyabi will lose, though, as he is not permitted to play his parent club. Lino Sousa will also not participate because he did not register in time.

New additions Alfie Devine and Adam Forshaw are also ineligible since they are cup-tied in the FA Cup, which only serves to exacerbate Ian Forster’s frustrations. Under the direction of their new manager, Plymouth Argyle have performed well and have not yet lost. In actuality, during Forster’s tenure, the Pilgrims have won three games and drawn two in all competitions.

The Pilgrims will want to play in the FA Cup as long as possible. Without anything additional
