DONE DEAL: Detroit Lions has sign a player that 33.6m with…..

A very successful 2023 season for the Detroit Lions marked a stride forward in their rebuilding process.

Even though the club blew a 17-point lead at halftime against the 49ers and missed a chance to go farther in the postseason, Dan Campbell’s third season in Motown will go down in history as a success.

Campbell’s decisions have drawn a lot of criticism, particularly for being aggressive in the second half, forgoing field goals, and for continuing to run his offense.

Penei Sewell, a right tackle, expressed his unwavering support for his head coach during the Pro Bowl.

The players on Detroit’s team agreed with all of Campbell’s decisions, showing that players have an obligation to carry out the coaching staff’s recommendations.

I disagree with all of the criticism aimed at Coach. I will always have his back,” Sewell remarked, according to ESPN. “I’m right with him if he instructs me to jump off a cliff with him.

“I really mean it. We simply need to carry out whatever he orders and says. That’s truly our fault. I like that guy.”

With both coordinators expected back in 2024, there is increased optimism that the team will once more be able to go deep into the postseason and perhaps even compete for a Lombardi Trophy.

Sewell said, “It really is family.” The return of those two guys merely serves to reinforce and illustrate that. It’s really happening. We all adore them.

The gifted offensive lineman for Detroit thinks the group can reach new heights and use the disappointment of a defeat as fire for their subsequent surge.

“Every new year going in, there’s always another level to tap into, and I feel like there’s no limit and we’ve just got to go attack it like that.”
