Leicester Coach Enzo Maresca Suspended For Having a Relationship with….

The deal fell through because the Foxes were unable to get rid of any of their peripheral players, according to Football Insider.

Despite a January agreement between the two clubs, Sensi’s prolonged stay at Inter Milan has been attributed to the Championship team.

Throughout the winter transfer window, Leicester made efforts to get the midfield player, even flying the 28-year-old to England to finalize the deal, but it was not successful in time.

Sensi has returned to Italy as a result, where he will probably play out the remaining few months of his Inter contract before becoming a free agent in the summer.

According to reports, the two teams had negotiated a loan agreement, whereby the Foxes would pay the Serie A leaders €500,000 (£427,000), plus a further €2 million (£1.7 million) as a permanent price in the event that Leicester were promoted to the Premier League.

After Cesare Casadei’s surprise return to Chelsea, Enzo Maresca was eager to strengthen his midfield options for the balance of the season.

The Italian spent the season on loan from the Blues, but the London team called him back in January. Casadei’s value to the team was demonstrated by his 22 Championship appearances, including eight starts, for the Leicestershire team.
