”I’ll Not Be Held Responsible For This Great Lost” Buffalo Bills Head Coach Angrily….

The departure of No. 2 receiver Gabe Davis is expected to leave the Buffalo Bills with some openings in their wide receiving corps to fill for the upcoming campaign.

Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN believes that the Bills utilize their first choice to partially fill that vacuum in his most recent mock draft. In order to provide quarterback Josh Allen a significant target and relieve some of the strain on Stefon Diggs, Kiper projects the Bills to select Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell with their No. 28 overall selection.

Although Kiper pointed out, the Bills have other needs on the roster, wide receiver is probably the most urgent. The late-season decline of Diggs and the possibility that Davis would cost the team too much to retain when he becomes a free agent were also mentioned by him.

Kiper said he changed his mind after seeing Allen average just 4.8 yards per attempt in a playoff defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kiper had first projected the Bills would select nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat, another Texas standout.

According to Kiper, “his receivers had trouble getting open and, once they did, they didn’t make enough plays after the catch.” Since mid-October, Stefon Diggs hasn’t had a 100-yard performance, and Gabe Davis is currently a free agent. Here is where general manager Brandon Beane can locate a valuable pass-catcher.

In 2023, the Bills discovered a breakthrough pass-catcher in Dalton Kincaid after relying heavily on defense in the first round for several years. They may follow the same path this year as they try to bolster their attack with more offensive firepower.

The versatile Mitchell might suit the role and greatly enhance Buffalo’s offensive, according to Kiper.
