Leeds are ‘working on’ signing three Premier League players including Tottenham defender

Leeds United are currently working on deals for three Premier League defenders as they look to bolster their ranks.Daniel Farke is looking for reinforcements before the window closes in 10 days and a new defender is high on his list..

After sending Djed Spence back to Tottenham, Farke must now fill that place in his team.According to reporter Ben Jacobs, the Whites are now discussing three potential deals..

Leeds eye one of three Premier League defendersSpeaking on behalf of GiveMeSport, Jacobs had the following update on Leeds’ current search for a new defender.”I think Leeds will keep Ben Davies because if Tottenham make some changes to their squad he could be the one to be released.”The beauty of Davies is that he can play left and centre. Given the need to strengthen and how little time is left, Daniel Farke would like versatile players, he feels Davies – or Davies’ equivalent – would see almost two to one. Several players preferred. Davies, Ben Johnson and Connor Roberts are the names Leeds are currently working on. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were active and having fun for the next couple of weeks, Jacobs said..

Leeds United know that to be successful, they need to bring in players who will improve the first XI.Considering the names mentioned here, money doesn’t seem to be an issue in loan transactions.Tottenham star Davies is the most wanted because of his experience and quality. However, with many injuries in Ange Postecoglou’s squad, it is hard to see Spurs letting the Wales international go anywhere at the moment..
