Alabama football legend George Teague credits Tide players for completing the 4,444th passing season.

Sadness was a natural emotion for Alabama fans watching players and coaches leave the program, but excitement is more important for those who decided to stay..

Alabama football legend George Teague is proud of the dedicated Crimson Tide athletes who want to continue to represent Bama Psi Phi. Teague, a former safety at Alabama, was an All-American and All-SEC on the Tide’s 1992 championship team under coach Gene Stallings.

He had six interceptions in 1992 (tied for the SEC lead) and finished his career with 14 picks. Teague was a first round choice of the Green Bay Packers in the NFL Draft (1993) and again played for the packers, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and Cowboys.

He is a member of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame as a Crimson Tide athlete during his prime and is an NFL analyst. Teague has his own podcast, Teague’s Take, where he raves about the Cowboys and Alabama football. He is excited to see what is next for his alma mater..
