A new Alabama recruit has been officially announced as the Crimson Tide general manager.

It’s not the National Football League, but the University of Alabama has its first general manager.

COMMENTSIt’s not the National Football League, but the University of Alabama has its first general manager. Courtney Morgan joined Kalen DeBoer in Washington’s arrival for the Purple Tide. Born in Los Angeles, California, Morgan served two seasons (2022-2023) as GM of the Huskies under DeBoer. He officially announced his new position with Alabama football on social media. Morgan will be the general manager of the Tide and is already recruiting.

Alabama has lost several names to thee NCAA transfer portal and other schools; however, Morgan and DeBoer have an opportunity to snatch names out the portal when it opens back up in April. Morgan has started introducing himself to the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) community and surrounding areas. DeBoer needs to do the same so these high school athletes can know him.
